Board Of Commissioners

Your elected officials would like to invite you to learn more about their roles, attend a public meeting, or see a list of current events in Benton County.

Assessment

Functions include valuing all real and business personal property, farm/forest special assessment, maintaining property ownership and information, processing all exemptions, calculating taxable values and property taxes for all properties.

Sheriff

We are a full-service agency with responsibility for law enforcement, emergency management, search and rescue, jail operations, court enforcement services, and parole and probation (community corrections).

County Counsel

The County Counsel is the chief legal officer for Benton County and is responsible for all legal matters involving the Board of Commissioners, the County Administrator and all County departments, employees, boards, commissions and committees, and public records requests.

District Attorney

Your district attorney’s office is here to make Benton County a safe and just place to live and work. Our office is here to help you with child support enforcement, identity theft, crime victim’s rights, and public records requests.

Financial Services

We are responsible for budgeting, accounting, collection of property taxes, treasury management, and providing financial advice to Administration and the Board of County Commissioners.

We provide a continuum of supervision and rehabilitation services to youth and families referred to the Juvenile Department in a manner consistent with the balanced approach.

The Benton County Natural Areas and Parks Department serves the interests and pursuits of Benton County residents by providing access to natural, historic, and recreational areas and conserving, restoring and developing parkland investments.
